[Review] FK Massimo Racing 3

Changing engine oil with each servicing and prior to each competition or track sessions, I've tried using a few brands of engine oil to date.

Speaking of my experience on my FD2R, I've already tried 4 different brands of engine oil. And each time, I find myself going back to the FK Massimo Super Racing 3 - Engine Oil.

The part about the superior thermal stability is the point which attracted me the most. Comparing across the engine oil I've tried, FK Massimo Racing 3 had surprised me time and again when the oil temperature on my Defi-gauges constantly remained low despite many hot laps around the SIC or even the drive up from Singapore to Sepang.

Well, according to http://www.fkmassimo.com/about.htm:

Every year professional drivers from around the world compete in Japan's GT Championship. Pushing their machines to the limit. Racing under extreme conditions and in the most tropical of climates. They put their life on the line and their engine to the ultimate test. During times like this your engine oil is perhaps the single most important factor between winning and losing.
FK/Massimo Engine Oil isn't researched in a lab, it's tested on the track. It's specifically designed to deliver maximum performance and prolong the life of your engine. That's why it's the choice of Porsche, Toyota, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Honda. It's also the most effective way to make sure your oil can stand up to the punishment of everyday driving. In a country like Singapore, you need higher performance and lower maintenance costs. That's the real test of a good engine oil.

With that, I guess no doubt they are as reliable as I've tried.

If you have doubts about the FK Massimo Racing 3, feel free to join me during a track session and see it for yourself.

[NON-ADVERTORIAL]

I'd like to clarify that this is a non-advertorial write-up. I have not been sponsored by FK Massimo to promote on their oil even though I'd be glad if they could spare me few litres each year (justsaying). The above has been written based on my limited knowledge on engine oil and the comparison between oils I've used. If you have any comments, I'd love to hear from you: shawnang.sg@gmail.com.
